New men’s breakfast club in Durham

Men who are aged over 50, live on their own or feel lonely can now enjoy a full English and company at a new men’s breakfast club in Pity Me.

Our Come Eat Together project has teamed up with the Pulman Volkswagen in Durham to extend their successful range of men only sessions to provide another relaxed breakfast.

Join us at Cafe Dafte at Pulman Volkswagen, Abbey Road, Durham DH1 5HA on Tuesday 21 November 2017 from 9.30 to 10.45am. Breakfasts cost £4 with a drink.

Andrea Goldie, Development Worker said, “It’s a great opportunity to get together and look at some new cars with the added bonus of enjoying a tasty meal. Our project is about bringing together people aged 50 or older who may live alone, are caring for someone, or might feel lonely. There is always a warm welcome with Come Eat Together.”

Michael Lines, Head of Operations, is delighted to now offer two Men’s Breakfast Clubs, “This monthly breakfast club follows the successful club now running at our bright and cheerful café at the Skoda Garage in Belmont. We now invite men to join us for a full English breakfast with refreshments. It’s great to see the members enjoying good company, reading the newspapers, chatting to staff and having their questions answered.”
