Bishop of Durham to pop in for breakfast at our Gentlemen’s Breakfast Club

Older men in Durham enjoy a full english breakfast in good company

Our Gent’s Breakfast in the Café Cenno in Durham Indoor Market just goes from strength to strength. The after breakfast talks are hugely popular, chosen by the members of the group themselves.

We are looking forward to welcoming Paul Butler the Bishop Of Durham at our breakfast next Wednesday. If you live on your own, are aged over 50 and would like some good food and good company, why not come and join this monthly breakfast club?

Colin Wilkes, managing director of Durham Markets, said: “We’ve managed to bring in speakers from all walks of life. We’re all really looking forward to hearing the Bishop of Durham in such an intimate and relaxed setting.”

Organised by Durham Markets, Café Cenno and Age UK County Durham the Gentlemen’s Breakfast takes place on the third Wednesday of each month.

The Right Reverend Paul Butler, Bishop of Durham, is to be guest speaker at the next monthly Gentlemen’s Breakfast meeting to be held in Durham Market Hall on Wednesday, January 18 from 9.30am and will also answer questions.

Numbers are limited and demand is expected to be high.

Places can be reserved by calling Come Eat Together on 0191 374 6577 or emailing us at
