Promoting Come Eat Together & Winter Warmth with Radio Teesdale

Winter wrapped upSara Collins the Project Coordinator for Come Eat Together teamed up with Linda Robinson the Age UK County Durham Development Worker for the Dales to spread the word about keeping warm and well in winter.

The two took part in a radiothon fundraising event held by Teesdale Radio last Friday 17 October. Sara talked about Come Eat Together and shared tips about keeping a well stocked food cupboard for emergencies. Linda shared tips and advice for older people about keeping warm in winter. She explained how she and the other Development Workers are distributing information and winter warmth packs across County Durham to get the key messages across to keep warm and active.
